This week, the electrical subcontractor, Elmund & Nelson,  was onsite connecting underground conduits to streetlight foundations and installing streetlight foundations on the west side of Waukegan Rd. from Chestnut Ave. south to Woodlawn Ave.  Additionally, the signage subcontractor was onsite this week laying out regulatory, information, and street signage.

Next week, the concrete subcontractor is scheduled to be installing concrete sidewalk in various locations that were previously gapped due to conflicts (provided air temperature allows).  The landscaping subcontractor is also scheduled to be onsite next week grading and installing topsoil on the east side of Waukegan Rd.  Also, next week the pavement marking subcontractor is scheduled to be on site installing thermoplastic pavement markings on Waukegan Rd. and Chestnut Ave.  Additionally, the signage subcontractor is scheduled to install regulatory, information, and street signage.

The Village of Glenview has met with ComEd to coordinate the relocation of the large green utility box located on the east side of Waukegan Road south of Pleasant Lane.  ComEd will begin the design necessary to relocate the box and will begin work as soon as possible.
